Visionary.ai’s AI-based Image Signal Processor is now running on Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 4 platforms. The integration enables high-quality video processing directly on the edge, without reliance on cloud compute.
The AI ISP delivers real-time 4K video at 30 frames per second, processing raw Bayer sensor input and producing YUV output suitable for downstream vision and display pipelines. By operating entirely on-device, the solution significantly improves video quality while maintaining strict latency constraints required for modern edge applications.
Unlike traditional fixed-function ISPs, Visionary.ai’s approach replaces hand-tuned imaging blocks with a software-defined, AI-native pipeline. This allows camera systems to adapt more easily to new sensors, lighting conditions, and use cases, while accelerating development cycles and reducing system complexity.
Running on Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 4, the AI ISP is optimized for modern system-on-chip architectures, making it well suited for next-generation cameras across markets such as security, robotics, mobile, drones, and intelligent edge devices.
